I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement covers beidersim.com.
What I have done
- The site aims at the Israeli standard IS 5568 (WCAG 2.0, level AA). Every page was checked with an automated WCAG 2.1 AA test in November 2026, and the problems it found were fixed.
- All pages work with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly marked.
- Pictures and videos have text descriptions.
- Text and background colours have enough contrast.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom, and the pages adapt to phone screens.
- Moving videos have a Pause button. If your computer is set to reduce motion, they start paused.
- Nothing on the site flashes.
Known limitations
- The BeidPrep User Manual (PDF, 213 pages) has not been checked for accessibility.
- The tutorial videos are hosted on YouTube.
- The forum (forum.beidersim.com) runs on Flarum, open-source forum software that I did not write.
If any of these gets in your way, write to me and I'll help you with the part you need, for example a written version of a video or of a chapter of the manual.
Exemption
Beider Simulations is a small business that is exempt from the website accessibility requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, regulation 35. I make the site accessible anyway, and I offer help by e-mail as described above.
